INGREDIENTS

  • 4 chicken thighs, bone-in and skin-on, excess fat and skin trimmed
  • ½ tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp oregano
  • ½ tsp onion powder

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for 5 minutes. After preheating, spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
  2. In a large zip-top bag or bowl with a lid, add the chicken thighs, kosher salt, smoked paprika, garlic powder, oregano, and onion powder. Shake to coat the chicken evenly.
  3. Place the chicken thighs in the air fryer basket, skin side down, and cook for 12 minutes.
  4. Turn the chicken thighs skin side up and cook for an additional 10 minutes. If you prefer your chicken to be super crispy, cook for an additional 4 minutes, checking regularly.
  5. Check the internal temperature of the chicken with a meat thermometer to ensure it reaches 165°F (74°C). Serve immediately.
